Dax Shepard Reveals He Shaved 11-Year-Old Daughter Lincoln’s Legs and She Shaved His Back — Now He’s Collecting The Hair

It’s a shaving party in Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell’s household.

On the Monday, Nov. 25 episode of Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, the actor, 49, revealed that he shaved his older daughter Lincoln’s legs for her while recounting the story of how the 11-year-old ended up shaving his own back.

“I discovered I had all this back hair from the backlighting of the gym. I was saying it out loud to my family, and Lincoln said, ‘Do you want me to shave your back?’ ” the dad of two recalled, adding, “Which I think is a dirty job. I would have never asked her to shave my back.”

“But she offered, and I shave her legs for her,” Shepard admitted.

As for how Lincoln got the job done, “I sat on the edge of the bathtub, and she shaved my whole back,” he explained. “And then I collected it to throw it away and I couldn’t help but notice, this is the softest hair I’ve ever felt in my life,” he added.

“I had the girls feel it, and we all agreed that it’s cashmere,” he said, referring to Lincoln and his younger daughter Delta, 9. “So then Lincoln and I decided that I should start collecting it.”

He continued to explain the reason for the collection: “At some point, maybe when I’m 60 or 70, I’ll have enough for a sweater.”

Shepard even brought his bag of “cashmere” back hair with him to set. “I brought it and I keep it in this bag now,” he said. “And as you can see from the amount in it, it’s gonna take a long time.”
