Influencer Tennessee Thresher Gets Engaged to YouTuber Danny Aarons in Romantic Beach Proposal

Tennessee Thresher and Danny Aarons are engaged!

While on vacation in Maldives on Jan. 2, Aarons, a 22-year-old YouTuber, popped the question to influencer and model Thresher, 24, on a beach adorned with pink roses and a light-up sign that read “Marry Me.” 

The pair shared the romantic proposal in a joint post to Instagram with the simple caption “02.01.25🤍.”’

The happy news comes just two months after the pair announced that they were expecting their first child. On Nov. 7, Thresher and Aarons delighted their fans with an Instagram Reel that included clips of the duo playing a game on the YouTube competition show Locked In, along with a positive pregnancy test, Thresher’s baby bump and an ultrasound at a doctor’s visit.

“Our love created life, thank you God🤍,” the lovebirds captioned the pregnancy reveal.

Thresher and Aarons first met on season 4 of Locked In, which was released to YouTube in late 2023, where the pair playfully clashed while living in a house together for the show. In one clip from the first episode, Thresher complained about Aarons’ snoring — but by the ninth episode, she admitted to her fellow contestants that she actually found the YouTuber attractive.

In January 2024, several weeks after the show finished airing, the pair made their relationship official by posting a YouTube Shorts video dancing together to Grace Potter’s “Something That I Want.”

“This man is everything I’ve prayed for, my best friend and loml🤍,” the influencer posted to her Instagram Stories shortly after their engagement announcement.

“Need to get back and plan a wedding NOW,” she captioned another clip, showing off her stunning radiant cut ring.

Thresher also treated fans to more behind-the-scenes content from the pair’s trip to the Maldives in a YouTube vlog — showing off their glamorous beach-side hotel, their tropical meals and their New Year’s Eve celebrations.

“I keep thinking it’s our honeymoon — we’re not even married. But don’t worry people: Your comments don’t go unnoticed,” Thresher says in one clip from the vlog, giving a knowing look to Aarons, just days before he would get down on one knee.

“Think he understood the hint 😭,” wrote one fan in the comments.
