Backstreet’s back — and they’re taking fans to the Sphere.

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, the Backstreet Boys announced a residency at Sphere in Las Vegas in July. Titled “Into the Millennium,” the experience will bring their 1999 album Millennium to life onstage.

Fans can expect the group — made up of Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell and Howie Dorough — to sing hits like the Grammy-nominated “I Want It That Way” and “Larger Than Life.”

The Sphere’s technology will enhance the band’s music with cutting-edge visuals and sound systems, truly making the ’90s phenomenon larger than life.

Backstreet Boys’ Instagram page teased the residency with a clip of the starry night sky and a countdown clock, both playing clips from “Larger Than Life” leading up to the announcement, leaving fans guessing.

“WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?” one person wrote. “So like how much money do I need to save for this?” another asked panning for a potential concert.

“Guys please stop playing with our hearts, tell us already if something big is happening 😑,” a third added, poking fun at their song “Quit Playing Games.”
