Oprah Is Making a Case for the Dressier Version of Classic Cargo Pants — Get the Look from $34

Oprah Winfrey keeps carrying precious cargo — when it comes to her pants, that is.

While I am a fan of many of the media mogul’s outfit-repeating choices (pleated trousers, monochromatic white outfits, and crossbody bags all come to mind), her decision to keep sporting khaki silk cargo pants is my newest obsession. Winfrey has worn the practical yet stylish trousers multiple times lately. Most recently, she teamed roomy cargo pants with a lightweight color-blocked sweater for an episode of The Oprah Podcast with Maria Shriver.

Silky cargo pants are a lightweight, airy alternative to more restrictive jeans for spring. I’ve clocked Winfrey’s decision to wear silky cargo pants three times in the past year alone.
