Editor-Loved and Tested Finds at Walmart

Better Homes & Gardens Ruched Faux Fur Throw Blanket

Walmart; Ali Faccenda

I’m a self-proclaimed blanket snob who owns more than 10 different throws. This faux fur style looks luxurious on my bouclé sofa and is so soft that it’s replaced others in my collection, particularly more expensive styles I’ve paid nearly $100 for. Since it’s so affordable, I’m keeping this on my radar for upcoming holiday gifts for loved ones. — Ali Faccenda, Associate Shopping Editor

Time and Tru Buckle Clogs

Walmart; Bridget Degnan

Nothing makes the bargain hunter in me happier than discovering affordable items that look just like pricier ones, and this pair of clogs is my latest and greatest find. They’re so comfy and versatile and resemble celeb-worn styles for significantly less at just $20. I own the classic sand color and want to add the blue and white corduroy designs to my fall footwear collection. — Bridget Degnan, Shopping Editor

Time and Tru Tall Over-the-Knee Stretch Boots

Walmart; Kelsey Fredericks

I saw my coworker’s review of these boots and knew I had to have them — and they’re a win in more ways than one. Not only are these some of the comfiest shoes I’ve ever worn, but they’re also so stylish and fit the knee-high aesthetic I’ve been searching for. I run in between narrow and wide shoes, and the medium width fits me perfectly, plus I’m very fond of the roomy toe bed. These look like they’d cost a designer price, and my friends were very shocked when I told them I got them for only $35 from Walmart. — Kelsey Fredericks, Shopping Writer

Scoop Faux Leather Moto Trench Coat

Walmart; Megan Schaltegger

While I’m very picky about faux leather and tend to avoid the material, this lightweight moto design from Walmart screams luxury. The fabric is flexible and buttery-soft and moves with me in a way that doesn’t feel constricting. Plus, the midi length and tie belt, which provides a flattering silhouette, make it so flattering. I’ve paired the style with a range of outfits, including a more casual jeans and tee look and an elevated take with tall boots and a dress. — Megan Schaltegger, Shopping Writer

No Boundaries Tall Western Boot

Walmart; Rachel Trujillo

While I’m always eager to pull out sweaters and light jackets each fall, I also look forward to wearing seasonal footwear — specifically boots. This year, I’ve regularly reached for these mid-calf, western-style boots with a memory foam footbed and faux suede exterior. I plan to style these with dresses, jeans, and skirts all season. — Rachel Trujillo, Shopping Writer

Free Assembly Cozy Yarn Cardigan Sweater

Walmart

If you could use more layering staples, look no further than this cozy cardigan. The second I felt the material, my jaw dropped at how soft it was — it’s cozier than my 100 percent cashmere sweater. And I’m not the only one who thinks so. I let my sister borrow various pieces from my closet for a recent trip to Boston, and when she returned them, she couldn’t stop raving about this cardigan. At just $20, it’s worth buying in several colors. — Bridget Degnan, Shopping Editor

JWD Open-Front Cardigan

Walmart

In one week, I wore this cardigan to a family birthday party, out to brunch with a friend, to the office, and on multiple quick errands, like walking my dog or grabbing groceries. It’s super soft and pairs easily with many different outfits as a comfy layering piece. I appreciate that it’s a little longer, so it’s an appropriate length for pants or dresses, and I love how the contrasting color of the buttons looks against the cardigan. I bought this in black, like the rest of my wardrobe, but I’m so happy with it that I might be convinced to snag it in more colors — especially at this price. — Ariel Scotti, Editorial Director

Dave & Jenny Marrs for Better Homes & Gardens Floral Jute Accent Rug

Walmart

There are only so many ways to make my tiny studio apartment feel more homey, and one of them is by adding a welcome mat near my front door. This jute rug is only $20 and looks and feels expensive. It’s thin enough that I can toss it into the washing machine on a gentle cycle if it gets dirty, which is a game changer considering how often my dog and I walk on it. If you snag one, I recommend adding rug tape underneath to hold it in place. — Ali Faccenda, Associate Shopping Editor

Better Homes & Gardens Amber and Saffron 2-Wick Candle

Walmart

I own more than 30 candles, but in my opinion, you can never have enough. Despite that number, I’m surprisingly picky about the scents I introduce into my home. I was fortunate to test out Better Homes & Gardens’ Amber and Saffron Jar Candle, and while I was hopeful that I would like the fragrance once it was lit, it exceeded my expectations. I love that the scent is subtle and doesn’t overpower my space. However, thanks to its two-wick design, it’s still strong enough to quickly eliminate other smells and provide a pleasant, fresh, and cozy scent. With a 40-hour burn time, I’ll be lighting this one throughout the season. — Lauren Fischer, Senior Shopping Editor
