Megan Fox Doesn’t ‘Dress Differently’ While Pregnant: ‘My Maternity Style Is Pretty Much the Same’ (Exclusive)

Megan Fox isn’t letting her growing baby bump get in the way of her standout style choices.

The actress, 38, told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview that her personal fashion sense hasn’t changed since she found out she was expecting her first child with fiancé Machine Gun Kelly.

“I really don’t dress differently while pregnant,” Fox tells PEOPLE. “My maternity style is pretty much the same look as my regular style except I modify [it] to be comfortable as the months progress.”

Right now, she’s been spending a lot of time cozy fall and winter knits.

“I am wearing a lot of comfortable cashmere in creams, black, and cocoa,” she says, adding that she also loves to clad her bump in turtlenecks, wrap dresses and skirts. “I’m still in heels — stiletto boots, sling backs.”

The Pretty Boys are Poisonous author additionally notes that she is drawn to “interesting vintage looking faux fur coats in deep colors.”

Speaking about her fashion staples, Fox, who has been dressing in a number of pieces from Revolve and FWRD, says she tends to gravitate towards “a fun faux fur coat in bright colors” and “a uniquely crafted vintage clutch type bag.” (Shop FWRD’s extensive collection of faux fur coats, here.)

On Nov. 24, the Jennifer’s Body star attended a shopping event at Revolve’s Holiday Shop located at The Grove in Los Angeles weeks after announcing her pregnancy.

During the outing, she showed off her growing baby bump in a sheer burgundy bodycon dress from the Revolve’s Camila Coelho collection that also revealed her matching bra and underwear set. 

Fox paired the see-through look with a matching $1,345 Ducie leather trench coat and black Tony Bianco mules for an extra theatrical look.

“I loved this shopping look as it totally conveys my style,” she says in retrospect.

Fox announced her pregnancy with a dramatic Instagram post which showed her cradling her baby bump while covered in black liquid. “Nothing is ever really lost. welcome back 👼🏼❤️,” she captioned the post, using lyrics from Kelly’s track “last november,” a song about his and Fox’s past pregnancy loss.

The new arrival will be Fox’s fourth child and Kelly’s second. Fox is already mom to sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, while Kelly is dad to daughter Casie, 15.

A source recently told PEOPLE that the couple was “keeping the baby news quiet until Megan was ready to share,” adding that the Transformers star and musician “can’t stop talking about the baby.”

“They are very excited. He’s basically telling everyone he knows,” the insider says.

“Megan felt nervous early on in the pregnancy, but she feels more relaxed now,” says the source. “She’s trying to enjoy it. She loves being pregnant.”
